“Greece will never accept the faits accomplis of the Turkish invasion and occupation”, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday in a statement marking 42 years since the illegal declaration of the Turkish Cypriot regime in the northern part of Cyprus. It also calls on all states to align themselves with International Law, to resist all forms of revisionism, and to fully respect the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Cyprus in the face of this secessionist entity.
