Cyprus and China have traditionally maintained strong diplomatic and cultural ties since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, 52 years ago, said Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou, Deputy Minister of Culture of Cyprus, at the opening ceremony of the 8th Nicosia Book Fest, 2023, on Friday evening. China is the festival's Guest Country of Honour.
