Perpetuating status quo in Cyprus is not a solution, says Greek Foreign Ministry

"The Cyprus problem remains to this day an unresolved international issue of illegal invasion and occupation by a member state of the European Union and the United Nations," the Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement marking the dark anniversary of the invasion, noting that perpetuation of the status quo is not a solution.
