Andreas Frangos was born in Limassol on July 16, 1975. After completing his military service with the Special Forces, he studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he served as President of the National Student Union of Cypriots in Athens (Ε.Φ.Ε.Κ.). He then pursued postgraduate studies in Law, specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution, at Kingston University in London. Andreas Frangos is a Barrister at Law, a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in London, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and the Law Society of England and Wales. He is one of the first licensed insolvency practitioners in Cyprus and a certified mediator. He runs his own law firm in Limassol and is a founding member of the Cyprus Arbitration Forum. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Land Development Corporation (ΚΟΑΓ) and the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (ΡΙΚ), and he was a member of the Board of the Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB).
He is married to Polina Neophytou and has four children.
