Cyprus recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% in February 2026, the same as in January, with the number of unemployed estimated at 22,000, according to data published by Eurostat on Wednesday. This rate shows a slight decrease compared with February 2025, when it stood at 4.5% with around 23,000 unemployed, and remains significantly lower than the average unemployment rate in both the euro area and the European Union.
