The crisis in the region of the Middle East has come to confirm many of the goals we had set as Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, said on Tuesday, adding that despite the challenges that have arisen in the region, planning of the EU Presidency is progressing normally.
