The current geopolitical situation was discussed at the EU Military Committee meeting (EUMC Aways Days), which took place in Nicosia, from 15 to 17 April 2026, within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU. The meeting was attended by the Military Representatives of the Member States, representatives of EU agencies and services, as well as the Chain of Command of the National Guard (NG).
