A new foot-and-mouth disease case has been confirmed at a third pig farm in western Nicosia, next to the other two infected units, Veterinary Services press spokesperson Sotiria Georgiadou said on Tuesday, adding that the development was expected because of the farms’ close proximity, while the total number of infected units has risen to 102.
