The EU co-legislators, the Council of the European Union under the Cyprus Presidency and the European Parliament, have reached a provisional agreement on updating the rules coordinating national social security systems. The revision aims to simplify and modernise the framework, making it clearer, fairer and easier to enforce for citizens moving within the Union.
