A trilateral meeting took place on Thursday in Nicosia between the President of the European Council António Costa, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, ahead of the informal meeting of EU Heads of State in Cyprus. According to a joint statement, during the meeting the three Presidents focused on strengthening support for Ukraine, advancing its European path, and the next steps regarding sanctions against Russia.
