The enduring role of labour unions in defending workers’ rights, as well as the need for them to adapt to new working conditions, were highlighted at the results of a PEO survey on perceptions of the trade union movement in Cyprus, with 85% of union members and 65% of non-members agreeing that unions are necessary.
