Motor vehicle registrations in Cyprus rose by 9.1% in the first nine months of 2026, reaching 43,890 compared with 40,212 in the corresponding period of 2025, according to figures released by the Statistical Service. Meanwhile, hybrid cars accounted for 53% of passenger saloon car registrations, up from 44% a year earlier.
