The Cypriot economy is expected to grow by 3.1% in 2026, despite significant challenges facing the global economy due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war and the conflict in the Middle East, Finance Minister Makis Keravnos said on Monday. Presenting the 2027 state budget before the House Finance Committee, Keravnos said economic growth was expected to remain at relatively high levels, at around 3%, during the 2027-2029 period.
