"Positive ratings and European rankings have real value when they translate into substantial benefits for citizens' daily lives," President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, said on Saturday in a written statement, following the upgrade of the credit rating of the Republic of Cyprus by Fitch Ratings from 'A-' to 'A', with stable prospects. "This is the goal and the direction we consistently and responsibly follow through reforms," the President added.
