President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, described recent works carried out by the regime in the Turkish-occupied areas, aiming at opening another part of the beachfront in the fenced off area of Varosha as a new unacceptable provocation, adding that "we will not let it go unnoticed, we will make the appropriate representations to those who today appear to be the defenders of international law."
