Senior officials of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) expressed here on Tuesday deep appreciation for Cyprus’ role in the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza. At the same time, they underlined the Committee’s long-standing support for ending the injustice that Cyprus has been experiencing for 50 years now, since the invasion and continued occupation of part of the territory of the Republic of Cyprus by Turkey.
