In Cyprus, 35% of all deaths is attributed to lifestyle-related determinants of health, including dietary risks, low physical activity, alcohol consumption and smoking, as it was revealed at a workshop on the development of a National Strategy for the improvement of the quality of life of the population, held by the Medical and Public Health Services of the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the National Committee for the Improvement of the Quality of Life of the Population.
