The security challenges facing Cyprus and Egypt in the region and the role of the Armed Forces in the two countries’ efforts to consolidate security and stability in the region were discussed by the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, and his Egyptian counterpart, Lieutenant General Ahmed Fathi Ibrahim Khalifa, the National Guard said in a statement.
