The United Kingdom has welcomed the continued work of the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, "in facilitating informal dialogue" on the Cyprus issue, and "the meaningful progress & constructive engagement by all attending" the informal meeting on Cyprus in a broader format in Geneva, with its Minister of State for Europe and North America Stephen Doughty pointing out the country’s continued support to UN-led efforts.
