A bicommunal event in Nicosia on Thursday afternoon, discussed the challenges working women encounter in Cyprus. Pancyprian Labour Organization (PEO) General Secretary, Sotiroulla Charalambous, noted during her address at the event, that Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot women face the same challenges and called for joint action to achieve equality in all aspects of life “in a future federal state.”
