Cyprus recorded a notable improvement in its General Government fiscal position during the fourth quarter of 2024, as the fiscal deficit shrank to just €6.0 million, compared to a deficit of €117.9 million in the same period of 2023. As a percentage of GDP, the deficit stood at 0%, from -0.4% a year earlier.
