The European Commission is initiating a number of infringement proceedings against 23 Member States, sending a letter of formal notice to Cyprus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Finland and Sweden, for failing to notify the full transposition of Directive EU 2023/2225 on consumer credit agreements.
