Beads and bead preforms, groundstone and other stone implements, bone and shell artefacts complete the findings of the archaeological excavation carried out in October 2025 at the newly identified site of Drouseia - Skloinikia, in the northwest sector of the Akamas Peninsula, according to the Department of Antiquities, Deputy Ministry of Culture. The artefacts found are of estimated age around 8000 years ago.
