The Law Office of the Republic chaired on Monday, March 9, in Brussels, the first meeting of the Council of the EU Working Party on Firearms, in the context of the examination of a proposed Directive by the European Commission aimed at tackling the illicit trafficking of firearms, which constitutes one of the key priorities of the Cyprus Presidency in the field of Criminal Law.
