In 2025, a “significant” decrease was recorded in the average monthly number of registrations of natural and legal persons for issuing "bad" cheques, both in the register (-47%) and in the preliminary list (-23%), compared with 2024, according to the 2025 report of the management committee of the Central Information Register for the Issuers of Dishonoured Cheques (CIR).
