The Department of Labour Inspection has carried out 128 inspections over the past two days as part of the campaign to prevent heat exhaustion among workers. This comes in response to the Department’s warning to suspend outdoor, heavy, and moderate labor, as well as transport and delivery work, between the hours of 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM due to the heatwave, in accordance with the orange warning issued by the Meteorological Department. The Department of Labour Inspection has issued 11 on-the-spot fines.
