Deputy Shipping Minister, Marina Hadjimanoli, highlighted the significant role of shipping in the Cypriot economy in an interview with "Phileleftheros" newspaper noting specifically that the sector is one of the strongest assets of the economy, contributing over 7% to the country's GDP.
