Greece, as a member state of the European Union and NATO and an elected member of the United Nations Security Council, has proven over time that it consistently works for stability, good neighborly relations and peace, the Greek Foreign Ministry said on Monday, commenting on a statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan. It further stressed that the country shapes its foreign policy independently and does not accept lecturing.
