Varvara Argyrou holds a degree in Law, from the School of Law, of the Economics & Political Sciences, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has acquired many years of experience in the field of legal support for Media companies and related sectors. She has obtained a license to practice law (in 2002), while her specialization extends to a wide range of areas, such as legal issues concerning the Media, labour law, contract law, intellectual property and corporate law.
As Legal Adviser to large Media companies, she is responsible for providing legal guidance on a range of issues, such as compliance with legislation, dealing with corporate disputes and formulating strategic solutions to legal issues. She undertakes the representation of companies in institutions and bodies, such as Ministries, government agencies, associations and the House of Representatives, providing advice and recommendations for the implementation of new legislation and the promotion of reforms.
In addition, she has successfully managed mediation and arbitration procedures, as well as the resolution of complex disputes, such as commercial and labour disputes in out-of-court procedures.
