Cyprus aims to start extracting gas from the fields in the country’s EEZ in 2027 or in the first half of 2028 the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, Michalis Damianos said on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of the Extraordinary Informal Meeting of EU Energy Ministers, taking place in Nicosia, within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU.
