Vessels must enjoy transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz in accordance with international law, as reflected in the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), Cyprus’ Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Gabriella Michaelidou, stressed.
