The Informal Councils of Transport Ministers and Maritime Affairs Ministers are taking place in Nicosia on Wednesday, within the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026. The focus of the Councils is expected to be on ports and railways as key pillars of a more competitive EU, as well as on maritime personnel, with the signing of the Nicosia Declaration.
