Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has welcomed an agreement for French investment group Meridiam to become the majority shareholder in the company behind the Great Sea Interconnector, saying the deal will give the Cyprus-Greece electricity interconnection greater financial and technical strength.
