Total loans in Cyprus recorded a net decrease of €68.7 million in July compared with the previous month, mainly due to loan repayments of €90 million by residents of other euro area member states. Total deposits, meanwhile, recorded a net increase of €562.3 million compared with June 2026, driven by a €603.2 million rise in deposits from Cyprus residents.
