Today is a day of celebration for Cyprus and the feeling of pride is accompanied by a great responsibility to safeguard our homeland and to do everything in our power to liberate it, House President, Annita Demetriou told the press on Thursday, following the military parade in Nicosia, to mark Cyprus Independence Day.
