Cyprus’ Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday condemned the illegal visit by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to “the areas of the Republic of Cyprus occupied by Turkey”, describing the move as “yet another provocation” that adds to Turkey’s continued violations of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country.
