Cyprus’ Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announced on Sunday the rescue of a 10-day-old Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus-monachus) pup, which was named “Panayis”, and who is now at the care centre operating within the Attica Zoological Park, in Greece, where it is receiving specialised care.
