Cyprus assumed the chairmanship of the EU member states coordination meetings, a process that has been ongoing since August 2025 and will continue in parallel with the COP24 proceedings, with the aim of formulating common European positions on all issues of the Conference, representing the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, through the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research.
