No new cases of foot-and-mouth disease have been detected in units in Larnaka district and this is encouraging, Soteria Georgiadou, Spokesperson of the Cyprus Veterinary Services said Tuesday during a press conference at Zenon coordination center in Larnaka. Earlier today a broad meeting of competent Ministers and officials decided that a special national action plan would come to effect and a Crisis Management Center would operate on an 24hour basis.
