The Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence of the Cyprus University of Technology hosted on Monday Gunther Krichbaum, Federal Minister of State for Europe of the Federal Republic of Germany, during an official visit to Eratosthenes’ facilities in Limassol. In his remarks, Krichbaum underlined the strategic importance of the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence for the European Union, stressing that the capabilities in Earth Observation, geospatial analysis, and climate monitoring enhance European preparedness, resilience, and technological autonomy.
