Professor Constantinos Leonidou is the new Vice-Rector of the Open University of Cyprus

 

 

Professor Constantinos Leonidou was elected on December 2, 2005, to the position of Vice-Rector of the Open University of Cyprus (OUC) for the next four-year term.

 

 

Constantinos Leonidou is Professor of Marketing and Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Management of OUC. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Leeds (2009), an MBA from Cardiff University (2006), and a BA in Business Administration from Middlesex University (2004). His main research and teaching interests focus on corporate sustainability and responsibility, business ethics, international marketing, services marketing, business models and strategies, and inter-firm relationships.

 

 

His research is published in leading international academic journals, such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of World Business, and Tourism Management. He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Research and is a member of the Editorial Review Board of Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of International Marketing, and Journal of Sustainable Marketing, while also acting as a regular reviewer for many other prominent academic journals. In addition, he is an elected member of the Senate and Council of OUC, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the CYENS Centre of Excellence and the Global Marketing Special Interest Group (under the auspices of the American Marketing Association).

 

 

Professor Constantinos Leonidou succeeds Professor Vaios Liapis in this position, who steps down after completing a successful and productive term, to whom the OUC academic community extends its warmest thanks.
